This song seeks to capture the essence of the book “The Road Less Travelled” The title refers to the the dilemma we are all faced with at all stages of our life when we are faced with the choice between instant gratification, the easy way out, or the hard road which involves delaying gratification.
Ultimately it involves giving up our own agenda for our life and surrendering to and accepting what is happening. Some traditions regard this surrendering to God or whatever higher power works for them.
