Quentin Tarantino
Formal Version
Sung by Tony Bardon with the Tallaght Choral Society under their musical director Mark Armstrong at the Tallaght Acoustic Festival in November 20013. Choral arrangement and piano accompaniment by Conor O'Reilly.
When Valerie Bowe and Tony Bardon sat down to write a song together in the Tallaght Songwriting Collective (www.tsc.ie), they decided to base it on a short poem that Valerie had written on Quentin Tarantino. She had recently seen him interviewed on the Graham Norton UK TV show and she was fascinated by the graceful manner in which he moved. |

The greatest of these is LOve
The Greatest of These is Love is the title song from a collection based on the major events in the life of Jesus as recounted in the Gospels which has grown into what I hope one day will be a musical. I have tried as far as possible to be faithful to the original text and the music reflects the influence of my major songwriting heroes over the past 50 years - the Beatles, Paul Simon, Kris Kristofferson and James Taylor. These songs are available for free download http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/50387
This is based on St. Paul's first letter to the Corinthians which contains one of the most beautiful descriptions of love ever written. Love is the the source and the destination of all that is and as Jesus is the the most perfect manifestation of love, this is the reason I have chosen this title.

the lake isle of Innisfree
The Lake Isle of Innisfree was written by WB Yeats and is considered to be one of Ireland's favourite poems It has been my privilege to set it to music. A lady from Alabama, Sandy Machen, has used the song as background music to her video of a beautiful collection of Irish photographs from the 19th Century
